Aussie rescue (ARPH) dog ~ loved by his "foster Mom"
Coogan was every bit what an Aussie should be despite his epilepsy. He loved every person he met and left a lasting impression on them. He was always ready to try anything and go anywhere. Coogan was my shadow. He taught me about patience, never giving up and most of all courage. When you looked into those beautiful eyes you could see what a gentle loving soul he had. Coogan will have a special place in my heart forever. Run, be happy my little man for we will meet again over the rainbow bridge. Illinois
“He was owned and loved by Tammy and Roger Stried. Dakota suffered with his illness almost his whole life and finally lost the battle. He will be missed by all who knew him!!” Illinois

It is with extremely sad hearts that we tell you, Emmett is gone; no doubt, now graced with angel’s wings and soaring carefree in the heavens. After having overcome (or at least taken in stride) a life filled with genetic mishap (deaf, epileptic, IBD), and seemingly winning the battle, his tired body could take no more. While our hearts break for our loss, we are relieved for him that there will be no more suffering. We are truly grateful for the unique gift we had in him. His love, affection and perseverance will stay in our hearts and we know that his short time on earth blessed many other lives as well – patients, students, neighbors, family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to share the experience of Emmett with you.
We can’t believe he’s gone.
With deep sadness, Marsha & Steve May 14, 1999 to March 14, 2003
His short life was marred by deafness and epilepsy and filled with dignity, loyalty, love and three agility "Qs"
Loved by Jean, Andy, Joan & Jay Danver
